The engineering of systems for quality inspection and industrial automation starts with the right illumination. The required color, the adequate shape and uncompromising quality ensure robustness against changes in ambient light and make characteristic features or defects visible for the optical inspection by cameras and software algorithms.

FLDR-A - Direct Ring

Angle Ringlight.

  • Direct Ringlight
    LEDs with extremely bright light output are mounted very tightly. 360 degree shadow-free illumination is possible. The Direct Ring Light illuminates the object directly from a flat board. Suitable to detect smallest divergences of reflectance between target objects. Used for not reflecting objects needing a strong lighting.

FLDR-B - Angle Ring

  • Angle Ringlight
    LEDs with extremely bright light output are mounted very tightly. 360 degree shadow-free illumination is possible. The Ring Light Direct Angle prevents shadowing and focuses the light at an angle to the centre of the object being illuminated. Suitable to detect smallest divergences of reflectance between target objects. Used for not reflecting objects needing a strong lighting. FLHC are “half models”.

Low-Angle-Rignlights

Dome Lights

  • Dome Lights
    Dome Lights allow shadow-free uniform light covering 180 degrees. For inspection of objects with glossy or non-flat surfaces or foil wrapped objects. The small FLDM-i50 is cylindric, all the others dome-shaped and illuminated from below. FHDM are equipped with high brightness LEDs to provide 360 degrees uniformity and larger coverage on the object area. FHDM operate at constant current sources in strobe mode. FFDQ is a flat square dome

Coating inspection and burr inspection of the molding, soldering inspection and inspection of board parts possible with coned FLKR-type. Discus FLFR-type with its low height is prefered for very limited space.

    Slim-type lighting with LEDs mounted at the bottom of the light guide to brighten it. LEDs are arranged at high intensity to produce high luminosity. Ideal for shilouette inspection.

    Coaxial is a uniform light that runs perpendicular with camera axis across the entire field of view makes on-axis illumination system.

FLDL + FHDL

  • Barlight
    Bar-shaped lighting using high-intensity LEDs. They create optimum oblique lighting conditions. Flexible installation to enable a wide range of applications. Usable as high intensity surface lighting. Reflections can be controlled by the included diffusion plate.

  • FHSP
    Spot light with High-Power LED suitable and a Lens to use in limited space and long working distance up to 3 meters. Can be mounted on movable modules. Best for reading bar code/2D code.

    Ultraviolette-Beleuchtungen (UV) werden eingesetzt um beispielsweise Kleber anzuregen, UV-Markierungen sichtbar zu machen oder zur Überprüfung von Lötstellen auf der Leiterplatte.UV erzeugt aufgrund des kurzwelligen Lichts schon bei kleinster Eindringtiefe ins Material eine erhöhte Reflektion. Somit lassen sich Staub und kleine Kratzer auf Oberflächen ideal inspizieren da diese sich aufgrund des UV Lichtes besonders hervorheben.

    For many applications, illuminations with lower light intensity are sufficient enough to obtain a perfect image. In addition, there is the sensitivity in the price, especially if higher volumes needed.  The new product line »FALCONeasy« was developed especially for large-scale projects in collaboration with regular customers. Instead of 3mm LED’s Standard, FALCONeasy line uses 5mm LED’s. The LED quality and housing design is the same. If SMD LED’s need to be (ex. Backlight / Coaxiallight…), we use another well-known manufacturer at a lower price.
    We pass on the savings directly to our customers. This approach makes it possible to offer almost all Falcon lighting types also in the FALCONeasy line.
