What is fluidized bed cleaning system?

A fluidized bed cleaning system consists of a reactor filled with a thermal medium which is heated and at the bottom air is injected.


This generates a specific flow and the thermal medium starts to fluidze and takes on many of the same properties as liquid.

How does a fluidized bed cleaning system work?​

Fluklean

When air gets injected at the bottom of the reactor the solid particles of the thermal medium separate and take on a state of fluidization.

Heat will disperse between the solid particles and contamination on the part will be removed without the use of any chemicals or other liquids.

1. Particles of the thermal medium
are in a solid state.

2.Switch on system, start air-flow,
heating and fluidization starts.

3.Contaminated part can be placed
in the fluidized bed.

4. Contaminated part will
sink into the fluidized bed.

5. Contamination will be removed
without abrasion, corrosion, etc.

6.Cleaned part can be removed
from the fluidized bed.

7. Remove any thermal medium particles
with compressed air.

8. Switch off system and the particles
will go back to its solid state.
